As the plot thickens, Chickie and Bevilaqua propose a deal to expand Dwight’s operations, using Tulsa as a base to branch out into neighboring states. But the deal takes a deadly turn when Bevilaqua unexpectedly kills Chickie, proving once again that in this world, trust is a luxury Dwight cannot afford.
However, the true shocker comes at the end when Dwight, who is on top of the world with his empire growing, is suddenly captured by the FBI. As he is driven away in a van, it’s unclear whether his downfall is the result of Thresher’s betrayal or if the FBI is closing in on him, but one thing is certain: Dwight’s story is far from over.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the door wide open for more conflict and intrigue in future seasons. While the show has been an engaging watch, this episode brings it all to a head with a bang, and the possibility of a third season seems tantalizingly likely. The betrayal, the shifting allegiances, and Dwight’s continued rise make Tulsa King a solid and entertaining show that keeps you coming back for more.
For me, this episode really crystallized what Tulsa King is all about: power, loyalty, and the hard truths of building something from nothing. Dwight may be a man of few words, but every decision he makes ripples through the people around him, for better or worse. And though the show has been a solid ride all season, this episode pushes the story forward in a way that feels like a turning point. It’s a little terrifying to think that Dwight’s empire might be collapsing just as quickly as it was built—but I can’t wait to see what happens next.
