Tulsa King Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Paramount+ has released the trailer and season two synopsis for Tulsa King. Get the details below:

When is Tulsa King Season 2 premiering?

The second season of the show will premiere on the streaming platform on Sunday, September 15th, with new episodes being released every Sunday until November 3rd.

Who will be in Season 2 of Tulsa King?

Sylvester Stallone returns as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a capo of the Invernizzi family who is relocated to Tulsa to begin anew after serving 25 years in prison for seeking revenge against the underboss in Season 1. Also making a comeback in Season 2 are Martin Starr as Lawrence “Bodhi” Geigerman, an expert in selling pot and hacking in Dwight’s team; Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell, Dwight’s chauffeur; Max Casella as Armand “Manny” Truisi, a former family soldier now part of Dwight’s crew; Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller, a bartender working for Dwight; and Dana Delany as Margaret Devereaux, a horse ranch owner who takes a liking to Dwight after Stacey betrays him.

Tatiana Zappardino and Anabella Sciorra have been upgraded to series regulars for Season 2. Joining the cast of Tulsa King Season 2 are Frank Grillo as Kansas City mobster Bill Bevilaqua, Neal McDonough as territorial businessman Cal Thresher, and Rich Ting as Jackie Ming. Additionally, country singer Jelly Roll will have a cameo appearance in the upcoming season, with his unreleased song “Get By” from his second album being featured in the Season 2 trailer.

How did Season 1 of Tulsa King End?

At the end of the initial season, Dwight was taken into custody by Stacy on bribery charges. She utilized the flash drive he had handed over to her, containing evidence of transactions to Chickie’s bank account. This development occurred following the successful launch of his casino and Bodhi's successful theft of all of Waltrip’s funds. Subsequently, Dwight eliminated the head of the Black Macadams. A positive outcome was his reunion with his estranged daughter, Tina.

Season 2 Expectations of Tulsa King

The trailer below reveals that Dwight will confront federal bribery charges and be required to pay a $3 million bond. Surprisingly, he seems unfazed by this and quickly rejoins his crew to resume work. However, complications arise when the Kansas City mob and a prominent local businessman pose a threat to the crew. Additionally, Dwight must also address issues awaiting him back in New York.

A few months after Tulsa King was renewed for Season 2, Terence Winter, who co-created the series with Taylor Sheridan, stepped down as showrunner citing "creative differences." Sheridan later explained to The Hollywood Reporter that his storytelling approach focuses on character-driven plots rather than plots driving characters, which clashed with some writers' perspectives. Winter eventually returned as the head writer of the series, with Sheridan overseeing the project and Craig Zisk taking on the roles of director and executive producer.

Check out the trailer below and don't forget the new season begins streaming on Paramount+ on September 15.
