Chance met Nick at Sharon’s house with some important news. They tracked Sharon's car via security footage throughout Genoa City, stopping at key locations, including the Riverbank Motel parking lot. Nick believed the footage pointed to Ian's involvement, as that was where Ian had been staying when he confronted him.

Chance was shocked to learn that Ian was staying at the same motel, but he insisted they needed concrete proof to link him to Sharon’s abduction. Nick was frustrated, questioning how much more evidence they needed. While Chance acknowledged the significance of Sharon's car being seen at the motel after her kidnapping, he emphasized the need for a direct connection to Ian. Nick, impatient with the delays, felt they couldn’t waste time reviewing the footage and decided he would confront Ian directly. “I’m going to corner that freak and make him talk,” Nick seethed.

Chance worried about the consequences of Nick's actions, but Nick was undeterred. He suggested that, since Chance was a cop, he should accompany him in an official capacity. Chance hesitated, fearing that approaching Ian without solid evidence would be a mistake. Nick, however, was convinced waiting for irrefutable proof would be too late for Sharon. Reluctantly, Chance agreed to join Nick in confronting Ian.

Meanwhile, at the motel, Jordan sat alone, pouring herself a drink. She bitterly reflected on being abandoned by Ian and resolved to handle things on her own. "I'm going to do what I should’ve done all along," she muttered ominously.

Back at the Newman ranch, Claire, Victoria, and Nikki continued discussing how to deal with Jordan. Victoria was hesitant, believing that killing Jordan was too extreme, but Claire insisted it was the only way to ensure they were rid of her for good. "We shouldn’t have to live in fear," Claire stated firmly. She was confident she could handle Jordan, explaining that she understood her aunt’s tactics and could outsmart her. She reassured them they’d be ready for whatever came next.

The conversation turned to secrecy, as Claire reminded Victoria and Nikki not to share their plans with anyone, including Victor and Cole. Just then, Claire’s phone rang. It was Jordan, and Claire spoke to her with calculated confidence. They discussed their mutual distrust of the Newmans, and Claire promised Jordan that their collaboration would be successful. She even suggested they meet soon, and Jordan agreed, though she warned Claire that it could be dangerous for anyone she knew if she was tricking her.

Claire assured Jordan that it wasn’t a trap, explaining she now knew exactly what the Newmans deserved. She directed Jordan to meet her at Crimson Lights, where she would give further instructions. Victoria, concerned after hearing Claire’s side of the conversation, voiced her doubts, but Claire was convinced Jordan was buying into her plan. As Claire left, Victoria confided in Nikki, worried about the toll these actions could take on Claire. Victoria reflected on the past, wondering if they could stop Claire before she crossed a line they couldn't undo.

Victor soon entered the room, sensing something was off. When he asked about Claire’s whereabouts, Victoria and Nikki gave vague answers, claiming they had been discussing Ian. Victor reassured them that he would protect them and mentioned that Nick was working with the police to find Sharon. He also revealed that he had seen footage of Sharon’s kidnapping. Nikki, seemingly concerned, wondered aloud if the kidnapper could have been a woman, suggesting that Ian might have manipulated someone else into doing his bidding.

At Crimson Lights, Claire sat anxiously, recalling her last encounter with Jordan, vowing never to let her manipulate her again. She received a text instructing her to meet Jordan at the same park bench where they had last met.

Jordan arrived in disguise, still unsure of Claire's intentions but willing to listen. As they sat on the bench, sipping tea, Claire explained how she had been an outsider in the Newman family, making it clear that her real plan had always been to take them down. She teased Jordan about the potential for a huge inheritance if things went according to plan, hinting that the Newmans would soon pay for their actions.

Jordan, still skeptical, asked if Claire would really sacrifice her mother for revenge. Claire, however, made it clear that she would never receive the love she wanted from her mother, and only Jordan could help her achieve her goals.

Back at the motel, Nick and Chance arrived and forcibly entered Ian's room. They began searching for evidence, and Chance soon found a glass with lipstick on it, suggesting Ian had an accomplice—most likely a woman. Nick, frustrated by the lack of clues, decided to focus on finding Sharon. He stormed out, and Chance requested a search warrant. Just then, Jordan appeared, overhearing Chance’s phone call and quickly running off after putting on her glasses.
