Meanwhile, Daniel opens up to Elena about his guilt over his injured mother and the past tragedy of Cassie Newman’s death. Elena encourages him to forgive himself, and Lucy joins in to support her father. Lucy later visits Phyllis, urging her to wake up.
At Crimson Lights, Kyle and Summer discuss her struggles, with Kyle offering his support. Summer thanks him but becomes distant when Chance interrupts. She blames Chance for her mother’s condition, accusing him of prioritizing evidence over emotions. Chance explains he acted on facts, not feelings, but Summer decides they need time apart.
Billy drowns his sorrows at the Athletic Club, where he runs into Sally. They commiserate over their struggles, appreciating their friendship, which leads to a kiss.
Jack confides in Diane about his decision to withhold the co-CEO position from Kyle, feeling Kyle needs to prove his trustworthiness. Diane suggests stepping down for her son, but Jack insists Kyle must learn from his mistakes.
Elsewhere, Lucy and Daniel continue encouraging Phyllis to wake up. Outside her hospital room, Daniel expresses resentment toward Sharon, but as Lucy calls for him, they realize Phyllis is waking up.
