Young and the Restless Daily Recap 11/27

Victoria, Cole, and Claire arrive at the ranch for Thanksgiving. Claire steps away to take a call from Kyle, wishing him a Happy Thanksgiving. He asks if she can sneak away for pie and to visit Harrison, teasing that he may need backup with his parents. Claire jokes about him bribing her and wonders if he’s having issues with his parents. Kyle admits things are complicated, but they’ll see each other soon. Summer overhears the conversation and questions Claire. Claire, feeling self-conscious, asks if Summer minds. Summer reassures her that she’s fine with it and is actually planning to visit soon too.

Nick arrives and tells his mom he left Christian with Katie at the barn. They laugh, imagining he’ll come in smelling like the barn, and Nick shares a kiss with his mom and sister before shaking his dad’s hand. Adam, Connor, and Chelsea arrive next, with Connor remarking that the ranch looks like a castle. Nikki takes Connor and Chelsea on a tour while Adam exchanges holiday greetings with Victor. When Victor asks how Connor’s doing, Adam says he’s fearless and staying on top of his medication. Victor speculates that Connor might think his parents will reunite, but Adam isn’t sure what the future holds. Victor wishes for a happy family and then greets Summer with a hug, where they briefly discuss Daniel’s exoneration. Summer is grateful.

Nick calls "Supergirl" over to join them, so Claire heads off to talk with Victor. Victor expresses how happy Nikki was that Claire joined her at Chancellor, but Claire doesn’t shy away from mentioning that she knows Victor pushed Billy out of Chancellor and is aware of what he did to Kyle. Victor agrees to share the full story one day. Claire acknowledges that business is cutthroat and people can’t always worry about how their actions affect others, but she can’t ignore what he did to Lily. Victor, however, tells her she has a big future ahead.

Nikki joins them and agrees with Claire, adding that the event was meant to honor Katherine’s legacy. Claire smiles, appreciating how much she’s learning about the Newman family’s depth of love and understanding. Victor shares a personal moment about growing up in an orphanage and how family means everything to him. He kisses Claire on the cheek as she fights back tears. Nikki then asks if Claire will join them at Chancellor, and Claire admits that while she didn’t approve of all their tactics, she now understands the reasoning behind their ruthlessness. She agrees to take the job, much to Nikki and Victor’s delight. There are hugs all around as they rejoin the others.

By the window nook, Nick, Victoria, and Cole have drinks and chat. Nick mentions that Faith, Sharon, Mariah, Tessa, and Aria are having their own Thanksgiving, but they don’t blame her. He then changes the subject. Nikki announces to the group that Claire has agreed to work with her, though Victoria seems concerned. The grandparents head off on their own as Victoria asks Claire if she’s sure about her decision. Claire explains she wants to be her grandmother’s right-hand woman and simply can’t pass up the opportunity. Cole is happy to see her excited.

Claire briefly slips away to see Harrison, promising to return soon. In the nook, Connor asks his mom if he can visit the stables to see the other kids, and Summer agrees to go with him. Meanwhile, Amy arrives at Nate’s condo with a bottle of wine. She asks if he’s made a decision about searching for Damian. Nate tells her one cousin is on his honeymoon, and the other is with their children, so he’s on his own and would like to share a meal with Amy. As they drink wine, Amy talks about revisiting some of her and Nathan’s favorite spots, like the Park Overlook. She admits she’s feeling a bit tired but is enjoying the day. She then asks if he’s reached a decision. Just as Nate is about to respond, Audra shows up at the door. She isn’t a fan of holidays but didn’t want Nate to be alone. Audra brought him a birthday cake, simply because “why not?” She smiles, and Nate introduces her to Amy, sensing some tension between the two women. Nate confirms Amy’s story and promises to help her search for Damian, though he can’t make any guarantees. Amy, tearfully grateful, hugs Nate.

Back at the Newman ranch, Nikki gives a heartfelt speech about the house being built on her husband’s love, which was christened with even more love than their wedding. She feels blessed to spend the day with her family and expresses gratitude for all their blessings. Victor echoes her sentiment, emphasizing that family means everything to them. The group raises a toast to that.
