At Society:
Billy continues to support Phyllis and be a friend in her time of need. When Phyllis begins to criticize Sally, Billy shares that it was Sally who encouraged him to go and see her. He defends Sally and shifts the conversation back to Phyllis and how he can assist her. Phyllis confides that she feels unseen and overlooked by the people in her life. She mentions how Billy, as an Abbott, always has support and backup, while she struggles—especially with Michael defending Sharon despite the hurt she caused Daniel. Phyllis also recounts how her best friends doubted her when she accused Sharon of being responsible for Heather’s death.
Billy empathizes, admitting he also knows what it’s like to be underestimated and misunderstood. They reflect on their many mistakes, noting that while others’ mistakes are forgiven, theirs are not. Billy says they shouldn’t concern themselves with others’ opinions and must take control of their own fates. He brings up his plan to ensure Nikki fails and Chancellor Industries crumbles. Phyllis immediately counters, reminding him that Victor would never let that happen. Billy insists they are smart enough to succeed and that no one can stop them.
Phyllis, however, remains unsure and calls the plan dangerous. Billy tries to sway her, but she hesitates, bringing up her past mistake of faking her own death and how it nearly cost her her children. She asks Billy to reconsider for the sake of his children. Billy understands her concerns but is determined to move forward, even acknowledging that his brother warned him against this. He explains that Chancellor was his opportunity to prove himself, but Victor stole it—and now he must set things right. Billy believes this is their chance to prove how formidable they truly are.

Claire runs into Tessa, who shares news about her new job position just as Mariah arrives, unaware that Ian Ward is eavesdropping nearby. The three women chat, and Mariah brings up Sharon’s recent struggles, including the drugging, blackouts, and previous experiences with hypnosis. Mariah expresses concern that her mother might recall something she can’t handle. Hearing this, Ian Ward quietly leaves. Claire offers her perspective, suggesting that Sharon may need to face these memories to truly heal.
Claire, however, remains conflicted. While she appears confident on the surface, there are still lingering flaws and insecurities she struggles to overcome. Her connection to others is improving, but moments like these reveal her ongoing journey of self-discovery.
Mariah then receives a text update that Sharon’s session went well and leaves to check on her mother.
At the Motel:
Jordan looks stressed as she thinks back to her first meeting with Ian Ward while she was in jail. In the flashback, Jordan remembers how they bonded over their shared issues with the Newman family. Ian had seemed different back then—changed after becoming a minister. Jordan told him about her sister and how the Newmans destroyed Eve and Claire. Ian had shared his own bitterness, revealing that he, too, lost his daughter to the Newmans. He had offered to help Jordan, suggesting they could channel their anger together.
Back in the present, Ian returns to the motel, now excited about the possibilities ahead. Ian tells her that Claire and Mariah are friends, which they can use to their advantage. He reveals that they need to adjust their plan. Ian shares that Sharon is undergoing hypnosis, which opens an opportunity.
Ian informs Jordan that he will befriend Tessa, as she doesn’t know who he is, while Jordan must focus on removing Sharon as an obstacle for good.
At Sharon’s Home:
Alan arrives to begin Sharon’s hypnosis session, while Nick voices concerns. He asks whether Sharon will truly remember anything and worries about her getting her hopes up if the session fails. Sharon acknowledges the risks but insists she needs to try. Michael arrives to thank Alan for his help, while Nick emphasizes the importance of Sharon’s safety, especially if anything disturbing comes up. Alan reassures them all, stating Sharon will be safe.
Sharon begins the hypnosis process. She recalls the accident involving Phyllis and mentions seeing a dark truck—the same detail Phyllis had shared. She hears the sounds of the crash and gasps, prompting Alan to bring her out of the session. The group discusses how the dark truck, not Sharon, was likely responsible for the accident. Sharon is relieved and grateful the session worked.
Excited by the progress, Sharon asks to undergo hypnosis again to explore the night Heather died. However, Alan advises against pushing too hard too soon, suggesting she rest. Nick and Michael agree with Alan, as does Mariah, who arrives and is updated on the developments.
Sharon remains hopeful that she will finally uncover the truth about Heather’s death. Nick begins to speculate that Sharon’s memory issues may be linked to her medication, drawing another connection.
