Young and the Restless Daily Recap 12/26

At Society

Phyllis and Summer discuss Sharon. Phyllis mentions Sharon’s desperation, but Summer urges her to leave it alone. Summer departs to meet Harrison, leaving her mother with Billy Abbott. Billy comments that Phyllis looks better, and she updates him about Sharon, hinting at other motives for inviting him. Ian listens in as Phyllis explains that while she wants to help Billy, her priority is protecting Daniel in light of Sharon’s news. Phyllis insists Sharon must not escape accountability, though Billy warns it could wear her down. When he asks if she plans to go after Sharon, she denies it but criticizes the court system.

Billy advises against rash actions, emphasizing he understands she was drugged. Phyllis launches into a tirade, and Billy references her feud with Diane, which ended poorly. Phyllis retorts, questioning why it’s acceptable for him to seek revenge but not her. Billy expresses concern about keeping her out of jail. He shifts the conversation, inviting Phyllis to join him in pursuing vengeance against Victor and Nikki. As they leave, they discuss ensuring their plan works, though Phyllis remains fixated on Sharon. Billy argues worrying about Sharon is futile and redirects her focus to Chancellor, asking for her thoughts.

Michael emphasizes the need to clear her name and help Heather’s family find the real killer.

Their conversation is interrupted by a knock at the door—it’s Daniel and Nick. Daniel demands to know what’s happening. Sharon admits Phyllis barged in, forcing her to reveal more than planned. Michael apologizes for Daniel learning this way, but

Daniel lashes out at both Michael and Chance. Reluctantly, Chance agrees to reopen the case. After Chance leaves, Sharon attempts to reason with Daniel, acknowledging his skepticism. Daniel accuses her of shifting blame, but Sharon explains how new evidence has changed her perspective. She vows to take responsibility for her actions and pleads for his understanding. Michael and Nick assure Daniel they believe the real killer is still out there. Daniel, still skeptical, asks to be kept informed and leaves. Nick resolves to work harder to clear Sharon’s name.

At a Motel

Ian meets with Jordan and shares his new plan. Frustrated, Jordan accuses Ian of blaming her and doing little while she handled most of the work. Ian apologizes, convincing her to accept his plan. He explains they need to involve Phyllis, describing her as perfect for his next scheme, and assigns Jordan a new task.

At Crimson Lights (Later)
