At Nate's, he filled Lily and Devon in on meeting the real Damian. Devon pointed out that Damian’s behavior seemed suspicious, as though he had something to hide. Nate defended Damian, explaining that he was being shady intentionally to lure him in. He revealed that Damian owns all the companies he works for, so it made sense he’d want to keep his identity private.
Lily, however, thought Nate was giving Damian too much credit. She didn’t believe people who were on the up-and-up needed to hide anything, and found Damian’s actions shady. She questioned why he had cut Amy out, but Nate didn’t have answers. Devon felt that Nate was making excuses for a stranger, but Nate disagreed, admitting he was struggling to accept that Damian was even his brother.
Lily acknowledged it was natural for Nate to have high expectations of connecting with Damian, especially since he’d reached out on Amy’s behalf. Nate explained he was trying to be patient, considering the earth-shattering news Damian had just received. He also shared how Damian had reacted to Amy’s terminal illness with detachment. Devon cautioned Nate not to trust Damian, and Lily agreed, adding that it was Damian’s move now.
Nate didn’t want to judge Damian but wished he’d make peace with Amy. He admitted it frustrated him that Damian wouldn’t give her that closure. Lily noted how close Nate and Amy had become, and Nate revealed that Audra had as well. He mentioned how Amy had brought out a softer side of Audra and noted how selfless Audra had been in taking care of Amy. Nate said he was looking into any medical help he could offer Amy.
As Devon and Lily left, Lily warned Nate to be cautious with Damian. She didn’t like how Damian hid behind Holden to manipulate Nate and was wary of Nate moving too fast.
Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Damian and Holden discussed how they both felt after learning about Amy, Jackson, and Nate. Damian admitted he should have ignored Nate’s initial pitch but couldn’t shake the feeling that he needed to know more. Holden expressed regret about pushing Damian to see his mother but assured him that it was his decision. Damian confessed his resentment toward Amy for the lifelong secret about his paternity, though Holden suggested she had lied to protect him. Despite the tension, Holden encouraged Damian to talk to Amy. Damian said he couldn’t do that yet—he needed time to process.
Holden urged Damian to forget about it and head back to L.A., where there were bigger problems to deal with. Damian agreed, grateful to have Holden as his friend. He decided to pick up food and meet Holden at the hotel to pack.
When Damian left, Audra arrived. She kept her distance, eyeing Holden cautiously. Their conversation grew tense as Holden pushed her on their past. She was defensive, claiming she didn’t know him anymore. Holden reminded her they shared history, but Audra was adamant they leave it behind. Holden suggested they both forget the past and keep moving forward. Audra agreed, but their conversation hinted at unresolved issues between them.
In Paris, Billy listened to Phyllis’s persistent voice messages and finally called her back. She told him that Daniel would be joining Abbott Communications, and though Billy was happy, he reminded her that he had asked for time to think it over. Phyllis seemed moved by Billy’s confession that he hired Daniel because of her, though she was still unsure about his role in the company.
Sally entered just as Billy hung up, and Phyllis mocked herself for asking about him and Sally. Nick overheard and joined Phyllis, offering her support. Phyllis revealed Daniel's decision and their new business venture at Abbott Communications. Nick expressed concern, remembering Billy’s past behavior. Phyllis defended Billy, but Nick warned her not to take everything he said at face value. She brushed it off, but Nick’s skepticism lingered.
Billy, meanwhile, was awake in bed, sneaking out to make a call. He confirmed with someone that Abbott Communications was ready to launch. He then instructed them to dig deep into Chancellor, seeking every detail since Nikki took over.
At Society, Lily bumped into Damian, who was picking up food for himself and Holden. After a brief exchange, Lily took a seat at the bar, her thoughts clearly elsewhere.
