At Damian's apartment, he and Audra sat on the couch. Damian apologized for dragging her into the chaos with his family. Nate could tell Audra was distracted, but she brushed it off, blaming it on Amy. Just then, Amy came downstairs, clearly upset over how things had unfolded with Damian. Nate and Audra both reassured her that she didn’t deserve this outcome and suggested she should head back home.
Amy thanked Nate for everything he'd done, and Nate shared how much he appreciated learning more about his father through her. Amy expressed hope that one day things could be different with Damian. Nate promised that if necessary, he'd go to L.A. to confront him. Audra then told Nate he might not need to go that far, as she’d just received a message from Damian’s friend, Holden, who wanted to meet up.
Nate found it strange that Holden had Audra’s number, but Audra focused on the fact that Damian might still be in town. She suggested Holden might be able to get through to him. Audra asked Amy if she could speak on her behalf, and after a brief moment, Amy agreed to lunch with Holden.
As Audra prepared to leave, Amy suggested Nate accompany her. Both agreed that Holden wouldn’t be as open if Nate was there, so he stayed behind to support Amy. After Audra left, Nate assured Amy that as long as Damian was still in town, there was hope for reconnection.
Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Holden updated Damian on emails they had exchanged. He reminded Damian that they couldn’t delay their issues forever and needed to return to L.A. Damian, however, insisted on staying one more day, explaining that someone had just walked in the door. It was Lily. Holden teased Damian about her being a beautiful woman, but Damian, recognizing her, remarked that she was Nate’s cousin, which piqued his interest.
Damian approached Lily and introduced himself. To his surprise, Lily immediately recognized him as Amy’s son.
Though Damian initially pretended not to know the connection, he quickly got Lily to explain. Damian joked about how, if the job Nate offered him were real, she could’ve been his boss. Lily, however, suggested that Damian had unfinished business in Genoa City and more pride than to run away. She noted that, like him, she'd learned shocking things about her own family and warned that confronting his past could turn everything upside down.
Damian then offered to buy her coffee and explain himself, but before he could, Holden returned. Lily sarcastically questioned if they regularly used their “switching places” routine to deceive people. The two bickered about their respective deceitfulness, but Damian insisted that Holden only did what he asked of him.
After Holden left to meet Audra, Lily focused on Damian. She let him know that she wasn’t impressed by his charms and that she wasn’t amused by his behavior. Damian revealed he was still in town because of their chance meeting and his desire to know her better. Lily pointed out how heartbreaking that was, given that Nate and Amy wanted to connect with him.
Damian explained that he’d been ambushed by Nate and Amy, with his mother trying to impose a path on him that he didn’t want. He admitted that he’d cut communication with her because he couldn’t keep up with her demands.
Lily, curious, asked how Damian had become so successful so quickly, especially since the timeline seemed almost unrealistic. Damian assured her that he made his own rules, but when asked about his secret to success, he laughed and told her it wouldn’t be a secret anymore if he shared it.
Lily continued to talk about Amy’s sweetness, which Damian agreed with. She then pressed him to think about giving his mom peace before she died, suggesting that even if he couldn’t fully forgive her, at least he could let her think that he had. Damian pushed back, saying he wasn’t interested in lying to anyone, especially not Amy.
Lily then warned him that with all his anger, he could be unpredictable, and that one day, he might regret not reaching out to his mother before it was too late. Damian remained firm that his only regrets were for those who lied to him. Lily pressed further, urging him to be honest with himself. She pointed out that if he couldn’t be honest with her, he’d have to come to terms with his choices. As Lily prepared to leave, Damian invited her to dinner, but she declined, saying he should try making peace with his mother first.
Meanwhile, at the Athletic Club, Daniel, still concerned about Phyllis, tried calling her again, but with no luck. Summer joined him for breakfast and was just as worried. Daniel admitted he felt something was off, but Billy, in Paris with Sally, suggested Phyllis could just be off on one of her spontaneous adventures. Billy also admitted he was concerned, but he didn’t think it was an emergency just yet.
Back at the hotel, Summer discovered that the front desk hadn’t seen Phyllis for a while, and with Daniel’s growing concern, they decided to call Chance for help. Chance arrived and reassured them that he’d help track Phyllis down, but also urged them not to panic yet.
Later, at Society, Holden met Audra, who was frosty toward him. She made it clear that she and Nate were a couple and demanded Holden do everything he could to convince Damian to visit Amy. Holden admitted that was one of the reasons they were still in town but refused to give any more details about his personal agenda, only hinting at a woman involved.
Meanwhile, back at the apartment, Amy and Nate had breakfast. Amy expressed worry about how the stress of Damian’s situation was affecting her health. Nate, trying to help, reached out to a colleague to explore new treatments. Though Amy hesitated, she eventually agreed. Just then, there was a knock at the door. It was Damian, wanting to see her.
