Sharon awoke on the floor of an unfamiliar apartment, the sound of a loud siren blasting from a speaker in the wall. She quickly realized she had been taken again. Struggling to her feet, she called out, but the siren blared once more. “Alright, you’ve got my attention! Tell me who you are!” she yelled.

The room was unfamiliar, and Sharon couldn’t remember how she got there. Her head throbbed. She pounded on the door, calling for help and begging for answers, wondering if it was all real or if she was still high, or perhaps losing her mind. Deciding it was real, she steeled herself—she had fought too hard to get better for this to break her. Sharon yelled again, demanding to know who was behind it, then grew angry, threatening them.

Sharon noticed a high window but froze when she saw Phyllis lying unconscious on the floor. She gasped, memories of waking up in a similar situation at Heather’s apartment flooding her mind. Rushing over, Sharon checked to see if Phyllis was alive, waking her up. Phyllis stared at Sharon in shock.

After helping Phyllis to her feet, Sharon explained she was just as disoriented. Phyllis, horrified, accused Sharon, “You got rid of

Heather in the most despicable way. Drugs or no drugs, you want to do the same to me, don’t you?” Sharon questioned if Phyllis was trying to manipulate her for revenge.

Phyllis reminded Sharon she had been unconscious too, and they realized they were trapped. Sharon’s calmness made Phyllis suspicious, but Sharon admitted she was numb, and this was really happening. Frustrated, Sharon lashed out, complaining that of all the people to be trapped with, it had to be Phyllis. They argued, blaming each other before reluctantly agreeing neither of them was behind their capture.

The siren blared again, disorienting them. Sharon explained it had happened before, but Phyllis had been asleep. Phyllis yelled at the unknown captor through the speaker, demanding answers. “Ian? Jordan? But I thought they were dead,” she asked. Sharon confirmed that Nick had witnessed Ian’s death and Jordan had killed herself. Sharon speculated it might be someone connected to Ian's old cult. Phyllis screamed, “Why me? Let me go, keep her!”

Sharon told Phyllis to calm down, but Phyllis was unraveling. Sharon, still calm, emphasized they needed to figure out why they were locked up together. “It’s definitely not because we’re friends,” Sharon said dryly. Phyllis suggested the captors just wanted to watch them destroy each other.

Phyllis tried picking the lock, but it broke, leaving them frustrated. Sharon started scanning the shelves and noticed books marked as property of Havenhurst Psychiatric Clinic. The realization hit—they were in the clinic. Sharon figured they weren’t going anywhere until they uncovered who brought them there and why.

Sharon explained she had been at Crimson Lights earlier, but now it was dark outside—she wasn’t sure if it was the same night. Phyllis, who had been having strange dreams, wasn’t sure either. Sharon suspected they had both been drugged before being brought there. Phyllis mentioned her breakfast plans with her kids the next morning, but Sharon reminded her that could be a good thing—they’d realize they were missing. Phyllis worried her kids might think she ran off again. Sharon tried to reassure her, but Phyllis snapped, defensive and bitter.

They started searching for their phones but continued insulting each other. Phyllis took digs at Sharon’s mental health, and Sharon sarcastically diagnosed Phyllis as a narcissist. They briefly debated whether their captors wanted them to kill each other or work out their issues.

Sharon found a bag of food under a table, including bottled water and cans. Phyllis was thirsty, but Sharon stopped her from drinking, recalling the last time someone drugged her water with PCP. Sharon considered the possibility that their captor wasn’t Ian and speculated it could be someone from her past. Phyllis argued it didn’t matter, and they needed to work together to escape.

They shared a brief, uncomfortable conversation about their troubled pasts. Sharon admitted to her mistakes and the terrible things she’d done while under the influence of her illness. Phyllis pointed out that Sharon had helped cover up their twisted plans, which ultimately led to Heather’s death. Sharon confessed she was still haunted by her actions, but Phyllis was unsympathetic.

“You should never get over it,” Phyllis said coldly. Sharon, frustrated, told Phyllis that she didn’t care about her opinion anymore. Sharon admitted to having hallucinations and talking to people who weren’t there, but Phyllis couldn’t understand why Sharon still targeted her family. Phyllis cried, blaming Sharon for everything that had gone wrong, and accused her of pushing her family away, causing Lucy to lose her mother.

Sharon snapped back, pointing out that Phyllis had been the poison all along, but Phyllis didn’t care about anyone but herself.

The two women traded harsh words, but Sharon then questioned if Phyllis truly wanted to get out of there, or if she just wanted to tear into her.

Phyllis, clearly broken, admitted she wanted to see her kids again. They both agreed to work together, but just as they made that decision, the siren returned, followed by a song playing through the speaker. Sharon, trying to stay focused, told Phyllis they needed to pay attention—it might be a clue. Phyllis, losing control, started banging on the door and swearing vengeance on whoever was behind this.

The music stopped, and Sharon, sensing something important, asked, “If this is a game, what are the teams?” Phyllis, still defiant, said, “It’s us against whoever took us.” Sharon asked, “Do you want to play?” Phyllis, surprisingly, agreed.

Together, they stood in the center of the room, calling out to their unseen captor. The man’s voice crackled through the speaker, chuckling, “Now we’re getting somewhere.” He informed them they would have to work as a team. Sharon asked what the goal was, and Phyllis demanded to know the prize. The voice simply said, “Staying alive.”
