Audra arrives at Nate’s penthouse with vanilla lattes, one for him and one for Damian, noting that siblings raised apart often share similar tastes. Nate corrects her, pointing out that Damian is only his half-brother. Damian arrives and assumes Audra works at Winters, but Nate and Audra clear that up, confirming their relationship is personal, not professional. Damian turns down the latte, preferring tea, and Audra gives Nate a kiss before leaving them to talk.
Once alone, Nate admits to Damian that he wasn’t truthful about the reason he went to LA to offer him a job—there is no job. Instead, Amy asked him to track Damian down because she has something important to say, but Nate can’t explain further. Damian, sensing urgency, gets frustrated and storms out, declaring he regrets Nate wasting his time.
Meanwhile, Audra and Amy sit at Crimson Lights, and Amy, visibly anxious, opens up about her difficult past. Audra shares that her childhood was filled with emotional distance and conflict, as her mother’s distance was only broken by fighting with her. Amy connects with Audra’s story, seeing parallels with her father, Damian. Audra admits she’s afraid to let people in, fearing rejection. Amy reassures her that Nate has cracked her armor, and Audra deserves love. As their conversation wraps, Amy hopes Damian will eventually understand his connection to Nate.
Over at Society, Daniel rushes in to tell Summer and Phyllis that Sharon has been exonerated, thanks to Ian Ward's confession of Heather’s murder. Phyllis, however, is suspicious, doubting the confession's legitimacy. Daniel feels conflicted, suggesting Sharon has suffered enough, but Phyllis is still angry about how Sharon framed him. The family agrees to move forward, focusing on their future. Billy then shows up, offering both funding and a business proposal to Daniel and Phyllis. He promises them an exciting new media venture, and though Daniel is skeptical, Phyllis is on board. Billy reveals that Jack is backing him financially, and after some hesitation, Daniel agrees to consider it.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack finds Kyle staring off, disturbed by news that Jordan, working with Ian Ward, escaped prison. Jack talks to his son, who explains how close he’s grown to Claire, especially after her recent ordeal with Ward. Diane worries about the potential fallout, given Victor’s history with the Abbott family, but Kyle insists he doesn’t care about Victor’s opinion. Jack, having learned about Victor’s threat to Kyle and Claire’s relationship, plans to protect his son from any future interference.
Back at the Newman Ranch, Victor, recovering from his gunshot wound, dismisses his children’s concerns over his health. He becomes angry when Jack shows up, though Nikki defuses the situation. Victor warns Jack not to meddle with his family, particularly when it comes to Kyle and Claire’s relationship. Despite Victor’s animosity, Nikki reassures him, but it’s clear that tensions remain high.
Later, back at the Abbott home, Kyle talks to Diane about the growing closeness with Claire and Victor’s disapproval. Diane cautions him that Victor may try to get in the way, but Kyle refuses to be intimidated. Jack, now back at home, talks to Diane about Victor’s ongoing interference and how he plans to make sure his son doesn’t face more trouble from the Newman patriarch.
The episode wraps up with Nate, Amy, and Audra discussing Nate’s conversation with Damian. Nate’s encounter with Damian was more frustrating than productive, leaving him concerned about what’s really going on with his half-brother. Meanwhile, "Damian" (who is actually named Holden) meets with someone, revealing that he’s been pretending to be Damian and is willing to continue the ruse to figure out what game is being played.
