At Crimson Lights, Phyllis expressed surprise at Sharon’s quick return to work. Sharon inquired if Phyllis had spoken to Daniel, to which Phyllis responded that she wasn’t going to let Sharon off the hook easily. Phyllis mentioned Chance’s sympathy, but Sharon corrected her, stating that only the DA had the power to drop her charges. Sharon admitted she could have been capable of running Phyllis off the road while under the influence of PCP, but that it was Jordan, not her, who was truly responsible. She explained that Cameron had been pushing her to kill Phyllis, but she fought back. Sharon apologized for everything, including her actions while drugged. Phyllis, however, made it clear she would never forgive Sharon, stating that she was only sorry for herself. Phyllis pointed out Sharon's lies, particularly framing Daniel and claiming that Heather feared him, which shattered her son’s heart. She reminded Sharon that her actions had consequences and that Sharon was not truly facing any accountability.
As their confrontation escalated, Nick arrived and interrupted, wanting to know what was going on. Phyllis told him they were just clearing the air, and Nick updated Phyllis about the situation with Ian and Victor’s shooting. Phyllis noted that Heather was caught in the crossfire of their vendettas. Nick commented that Summer had said Phyllis had moved on, but it didn’t seem that way. Phyllis reaffirmed that she had, but still needed to address matters with Sharon. She left, having made her point clear, while Nick suggested Sharon focus on her own healing.
Elsewhere in the park, Holden and Damian discussed the risks of their ongoing charade. Holden expressed concern about Amy’s potential recognition of him, but Damian insisted they could still make it work if Holden avoided meeting her. They continued discussing Nate’s background, as Damian was unsure of his true intentions. Holden then received information from a background check on Nate, revealing that Nate was a doctor who had left his career due to an injury. Damian was intrigued by the connections between Nate and his mother, Amy, and suspected there was more to Nate than met the eye. They agreed that this new information could be a significant clue in understanding Nate’s motivations.
Back at Nate’s, Amy, with the support of Audra and Nate, reflected on her past with Damian. She admitted her disappointment that Damian had cut her off and worried that he might never want to reconnect. Nate suggested Damian would likely do a background check on him, and Amy feared the truth would be revealed about her pregnancy. Despite her worries, Audra and Nate encouraged her to stay hopeful, as they believed Damian hadn’t given up on her yet.
Meanwhile, Billy welcomed Sally over for lunch at his house, where they discussed his new media venture. Billy was eager to have Phyllis and Daniel on board, though Sally was apprehensive about Phyllis’s involvement. Billy explained that Phyllis had business expertise and had supported him through tough times. Sally reluctantly accepted the idea, though she warned Billy to proceed with caution. Billy expressed his gratitude for Sally’s support, and they shared a kiss before Phyllis unexpectedly dropped by. She helped herself to the food and casually inquired about the business venture. Billy updated her and reminded her that she would need more details to make a decision. Sally excused herself to return to work, leaving Billy and Phyllis to talk. Phyllis complimented Billy’s home and commented on the difference in his relationships with Sally and Daniel. Billy reminded Phyllis of the boundaries around their personal lives, but Phyllis simply smiled and quipped that she was "Firewall Phyllis."
